COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A tribute to the highly drinkable ""every day"" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process

Nice lawnmower beer---however, it had a very distinctive "watery" aftertaste. I wouldíve rated it much higher if this aftertaste / late palate didnít follow. Clean in appearance. Nice blonde color.

On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: MIldly hazy golden body with a firm white head.
Aroma: The aroma is very clean and mild with a hint of malt sweetness and a hint of lemon, nothing else of note. Not offensive, but not tantalizing.
Taste: The flavor is crisp and clean, lager-esque, which is nice to see an ale with those qualities. The flavor has a mild malty sweetness and a hint of lemon and peppery spice, but overall very clean and mild. It doesnít impress but it is drinkable.
Palate: Light and crisp with high carbonation.
Overall: This is barely a step above a mass lager in all honesty. Thatís not necessarily a bad thing, but itís definitely not a "farmhouse ale" as they call it. This is a crisp and enjoyable beer available at a decent price. Nothing more, nothing less.

Drank from bottle. Nice flowery, earthy aromas. Good amount of fizzle. Odd bitterness. Not a huge fan.

12 ounce bottle. Light and crisp. Some yeasty characteristics. While not a flavor bomb, better than most of the reviews here.

Bottle. Clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma is strong yeast with a dash of citrus. Wheat is apparent towards the end. Taste is heavy on wheat and not much else. Light citrusy notes in the finish. Palate is surprisingly full for the style. This just needs more flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells Lightly grainy, bready accented wheat and pale malts citrus, spice, clover honey, and zesty hops. Taste is Pale malted barley and malted wheat, incorporating a slight tang and joining a honeyish sweetness. Bready, biscuity elements to it. Floral, spicy hops with a sufficient bitterness present. Small splash of lemon Light touches of unripe bananas and cloves. A bit of slight sourness. The sweetness darts back in and out as you work through the bottle. Creamy yet crisp on the drying finish with light hints of citrus and earthy spice. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation. Iíll be honest, and maybe itís my own fault, but I purchased this assuming I was getting into a saison. The word "farmhouse" in the title is generally appealing, the word "summer" on the other hand... Iíve heard saison yeast can be tricky to handle, but Iím somewhat surprised they just copped out with just a standard English ale yeast. At least they did go for a sour mash. So the beer is a tasty blonde, yes, even a very fine "summery" beer.

Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - AUG 6, 2013
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. It pours a clear light gold with a soft and sustained white head. The nose is muted with a little hint of grain and grass. Thin and watery on the tongue. Lacks flavor. You get a little hit of grain, malt sweetness, and grass up front, but that quickly goes away. Light in body with a short finish. Really weak offering.

Growler filled at Dover Liquor Depotís Taps. Pours clear light yellow with a huge white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is mostly yeast and grain not strong at all. Taste is also grain, yeast and some malts; very watery. This is a good beer for summer days quite refreshing and super easy to drink, not a superb beer, but not bad at all.
