Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dishwater gold with a slight white head. Aroma is light light pitted fruit with a hint of yeast/spice. Med body more or less. Flavor is lightly bready, slightly fruit, dusty/wheaty. Spicy - not to my tastebuds. Summer beer it is.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
A: The beer pours a lightly hazed golden orange color with a tall white head.
S: Lemon zest, banana, and bubblegum make for a very...interesting aroma. Light breadiness from the malts with a moderate sweetness. Hints of pepper and other spices.
T: Sweet pale malts with some light bready notes. Pepper and earthy flavors are present as is a hint of banana. Lots of lemon, particularly lemon zest, with a little bit of tartness to it.
M: Light to medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Not nearly as bad as their IPA that I had before it, but still not a fan.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sparkling clear, very light, straw-colored beer. The quickly disappearing head leaves fair lacework.
A mild brew in both aroma and flavor. A touch buttery with hints of butterscotch and grass. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation.
Call it a Saison if you like, but to me it tastes and feels like any other mild British style brew. Absolutely not spectacular. Refreshing, though. Brewed to be enjoyed during the hot Summer months.
