Great Belgian ale with great structure and body. Probably one of my very favorite Flying Fish beers because it’s straightforward but complex too. Really satisfying and food friendly.

Bottle to shaker glass, pours almost clear straw yellow. One finger quick white head, no lacing, no retention, Aroma banana and Belgian yeast. Taste is moderately sweet, slightly bitter with typical Belgian sourness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, slick mouth feel. Finishes dry. Tasting notes of banana, pink peppercorns, coriander, esters, barnyard and herbs. Not a bad beer but feels more summer than winter to me.

Pours a hazy golden color with small wispy white head
Bready yeasty spice flavor, corriander.
Medium full bodied with medium co2, lingering yeasty finish.
Enjoyable beer. Good intro Belgian style beer. Easy to drink.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours golden orange with a one finger white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of Belgian yeast, fruity ethers, bready malts, candied fruits, and some light citrus. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi watery mouthfeel and a mostly sweet, slightly dry, medium finish. Overall, a decent Belgian ale that might be lacking in body a little.

Not exciting, but easy to drink. I can’t say that it fits as highly as the name implies, but the style is close enough to say, go ahead and drink it. Slight Belgium flavors of yeasty malts. Bottle
