COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This strong golden ale showcases a variety of the ingredients and brewing methods that help differentiate Flying Fish beers. The Grand Cru is fermented at a higher temperature than our other beers adding an undercurrent of fruitiness (although there is no fruit in the beer). Very lightly filtered, the Grand Cru exhibits complex mouthfeel, strong malt flavors, a spicy hop presence and a soothing alcohol warmth, followed by a clean, dry finish. Bottle conditioned, it is excellent with food as well as served by itself.

Pours a large white head. Beautiful color and carbonation. Smells of clove and fruit like apple and pears. Taste is very sweet but with a hidden tart/spice hidden in it. Carbonation is great and provides a smooth drinking experience. Solid Belgian from Flying Fish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours gold with little, white head that doesn’t hold well; banana esters on the nose; medicinal smooth finish. Mild and uninspiring.

Pours golden orange with a one finger white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of Belgian yeast, fruity ethers, bready malts, candied fruits, and some light citrus. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi watery mouthfeel and a mostly sweet, slightly dry, medium finish. Overall, a decent Belgian ale that might be lacking in body a little.

Not exciting, but easy to drink. I can’t say that it fits as highly as the name implies, but the style is close enough to say, go ahead and drink it. Slight Belgium flavors of yeasty malts. Bottle

12oz bottle 5/23/15 (Total Wine-Park Place-TUS)-59° in Snifter-Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, spices, coriander, and clove. Taste of the same with some more yeast and Belgian tastes. This light to medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down smooth.
