COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the request of you hopheads, we produced this I.P.A. with a deep golden color, plenty of hop bitterness balanced by malt sweetness. Because of the extensive dry hopping, there’s a floral and citrus hop finish. It’s then lightly filtered to maintain the appropriate body and flavor. The beer features a combination of American, English and German malts to balance the large amount of hops. The HopFish also uses three hop varieties at five different times and has been dry-hopped for two weeks with 22lbs of Nugget whole leaf hops.

Decent ipa.slight hop but not heavy. Crisp very close to just a pale. No real aroma. Deep color.

Lightly hazy dark golden colored body, medium to thin white head, spotty lacing. Mild lemon and orange zest, florals, light grainy malts, and just a hint of grass. Meidum to light bodied, moderate carbonation, mild bitterness.

Bottle. Muted hoppy nose and flavors. Maybe it was an old batch, but all the hop/IPA flavors were flat and muted. Very disappointing, compared to other Flying Fish beers, such as Red Fish.

Pours a orange tinged Amber with white head and lace. Aroma of carmeled malts and light citrus. Taste was more malt heavy than hoppy. A light citrus note over carmel malts. Not a hop bomb and that made it more enjoyable for me.

Pours an orange gold, coppery color with off-white head. Floral notes, light citrus, and some malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a balanced out malt bill. Would have liked more of a hop bite on the finish.

Tap at Dinosaur Bar-BQ Pours rather unclear, darker amber . Small white head ( rather stable ) Smell is unintense, slightly bittered malty scent . Taste is mild bitter . Malty , light aroma , but not as much as you’d expect from a US IPA . finish is a bit perfumy-fruity ... Seems to me like hopextracts, though I am not sure about that.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2015 Light brown with off white head. Light malt and earthy hop aroma. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, some lemon citrus and hint of grassy hop. Slightly dry lemon finish. Bitterness and hop flavors more like a pale ale than an IPA.

Well-balanced English style IPA with a gentle but pronounced pine bitterness and some tropical fruit. A little too light on the body but quite refreshing.

on tap at Dog & Bull in Croydon - thought it would be super hoppy based on the name but it wasn’t. It was more bitter than hoppy. Clear golden color, not much aroma. Good but not great.

Bottle with pat and vinny. Pours a clear orange golden with thin white soapy head and lacing. Aroma is apricot, fruity malt, and vague bitter character. Mouthfeel is light with notes of lemon, fruity malt, light bitterness, some soap and perfume character.
