3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap, Dinosaur BBQ, Newark NJ. Clean lines. Pours golden with a reddish hue; nice head retention. Limited hop aroma. Attack is smooth, almost too smooth for a standard IPA, with a balanced middle and relatively clean finish with just a bit of lingering hops. Solid offering, simple IPA.

It's quite mellow for an IPA, it has a nice mellow malt flavor with herbs like thyme and rosemary. Casual drinking

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Fresh 12 oz bottle with a BEST BY date of 2 May 2014, served in a SA lager glass.
A - Pours an mid-amber color, thick fluffy bone-colored head has good retention; thick, sticky lacing.
Aroma: surprising balance of malts and hops; much more like a English ESB or pale ale than an IPA
Taste: is a let down too, some nice sweet tropical notes up front, but they fade fast to a biscuity dry malt, a tinge of bitterness. Nothing outstanding for sure.
M: a bit thin, but well-chosen level of carbonation..
O - Meh, a decent if rather tame English IPA. More than just drinkable but not worth seeking out.

pours golden orange with frothy large white head. aroma of biscuit, bread, some floral tones. tastes sweet for an ipa, malty, caramel and apple, some floral. palate is a oily, thin. most memorable thing about this beer was the pour, sadly.

Very good taste. I love these types of beers so I may be a little biased. I would love to hear some recommendations for this type of beer.
