Commercial Description:
At the request of you hopheads, we produced this I.P.A. with a deep golden color, plenty of hop bitterness balanced by malt sweetness. Because of the extensive dry hopping, there's a spicy, fruity hop finish. Lightly filtered to maintain the appropriate body and flavor, the HopPhish is then keg conditioned for extra character. The beer features a combination of 4 malts plus a percent or two of wheat for an extra creamy head. The HopPhish also uses five hop varieties and has also been dry-hopped for three weeks with Mt. Hood and Ahtanum leaf hops. Total tank time has been five weeks, not counting keg conditioning time.

Copper color with a white head. Aroma of hops, floral-mild. Taste of spice, hops, malts, and citrus. Well-balance. Not much bite for an IPA.

Like many other people here, I’ve got to say that this is a mild IPA. Solid brew, very drinkable, but not potent enough for a true hophead.

Nice hoppy aroma, but pretty tame really. Some nice citrus notes, but not big. Some mealy, graininess in the flavour along with the nice floral hops. A mild IPA.

Quite fresh 35.5 cl bottle. A deep goldish amber with a rather frothy, fine head. Citrus and piney aroma first is followed by a rather rich maltiness. Medium body and a carmamel flavor that is not as dynamic as many an IPA. Medium bitter finish with astringent afternotes.

This is a good IPA. It would be a good one to start with for someone who is not used to them.

Bottle courtesy of funknmilla. Thanks! Pours copper with a nice rocky white head. Smells of citrus, spice, dry malt, some earthy hints. Tastes citrussy and dry with some nice doughy hints. Very enjoyable.
