fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 31, 2007 Dark mahogany color. A beer based on (sweet) caramel, with a respectable body and (IMO) not much bitterness, also some roastedmalt; but lack of complexity and interest. CaptainCougar (4664), Rockville, Maryland, USA Mar 10, 2007 Sampled on 2/3/07 courtesy of boboski: Pours a transparent dark mahogany with a thin, wispy, light tan head. Aroma of slightly earthy toasty dark malt with a hint of coffee. Body starts with a touch of caramely sweetness, some earthy roasty coffee and dark chocolate with a touch of tartness. A decent brew, but could use a little more complexity.
