May 20, 2009 on tap-pours a white ring for a head and dark amber color. Aroma is light malt, diacytl. Taste is light malt-hint of caramel, diacytl, hint of continental hops.

Aug 6, 2005 Clear amber color with a thin white head.Nice aroma of pears, bread and caramel. Slightly sour flavor of bread, pears and caramel, bitter finish. Light to medium body, soft carbonation.

Mar 31, 2005 Fait malty sweet aroma. Deep amber-brown with shy white head that recedes to ring. Nice malty flavour has character but is somewhat staled. Medium body with low carbonation. Sampled at the brewpub with MartinT, muzzlehatch and Rastacouere.

Mar 29, 2005 New England Road Trip Easter ’05 with MartinT, tiggmtl and Rastacouere, beer #1. Small sample at the brewpub. Viscous amber, no head to speak of..nutty nose with some nice fresh green grass..light, watery, lightly bitter and woody, some burnt sugar late.
