COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dark hued wheat beer comprised of German grown dark wheat and German grown 2-row malted barley. This ale is fermented using the same yeast as our year round Hefeweizen which lends to subtle clove/banana/pepper flavors. Delicately hopped with ’noble’ German grown hops. 4.74% ABV

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear, cola like brown with a 1/4" off white head. Faint wheat and dark malt aroma. Flavor is dark wheat with light banana and clove. Palate was a bit thin. Decent, but not outstanding.

Draft. Pint shows deep brown with thin head and retention. Moderate carbonation. Nose is spot on for style. Nice clove and banana presence. Taste is nose with malt and German type hop. Well made, representing the style. I like it.

On tap at the brewpub. Served in a regular pint glass. Came in with a frothy tan head. A light brown brew. Light spice and banana aromas. Flavor is lightly malty with a good clove and banana flavor. More spice than fruit though. The finish is oddly bittering. Not hoopy bittering, but more of a dry, chalky bitterness. A decent and interesting effort.
