on draft at the brewpub. first time logging with my droid using the ratebeer mobil app.

Black with a khaki head. Roasted barley, oatmeal, chocolate, and lactic sugars. Not impressed.

A deep darks tout with a thin moka head. A lightly peaty chocolate aroma, refreshing. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate taste, with peaty notes, very smooth, and classic. Rich and well balanced. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 27 2009.

Pours brown with a tan head. Smells nutty and sweet. Tastes roasty and spicy with some floral notes.

(draft) Tan head, dark brown body. Aroma is moderately sweet, chocolate, some lactose, light floral. Taste is moderately sweet, chocolatge, EKG/floral. Medium body, soft, low carbonation.

on tap-pours a light brown head and black color. Aroma is sweet dark malt-molasses, oat, syrupy, faint earthy hops. Taste is sweet dark malt-coffee/molasses, wood, secondary earthy hops with a bite. Medium body.

On-tap at the brewpub in New London, NH. Two finger tan head that fades slowly leaving a trace of lace. Deep amber almost black color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. No detectible nose. Starts mellow, balanced not sweet, slight bitter finish. Disappointing oatmeal stout.

MdlB05: Dark brown with a thin tan head, grainy aroma with some roasted notes, full bodied and ends dry.

Clear dark brown color with a thin light brown head. Mild roasty aroma. Flavor of chocolate and roasted malt with a mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with a dry mouthfeel.

Brown in color with ruby highlights and a small off-white lacing. Mild roast and chocolate aroma and flavor. Thin and dry finish.
