COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This irreverent beer is as hoppy and more bitter than the I.P.A, very strong in alcohol and as bold as the brother himself. WARNING - not for the squeamish or faint hearted.

C-hops float on a comforting sweet malt backbone...Citrus fruit, pine and resinous bitterness proudly rise through the easy, slender body...Dried apricots sit placidly and jump in when needed...

(Rating #3798)

From a growler. The color is a nice looking amber-copper with a thin but reliable head. The aroma is floral and hoppy and very enticing. The taste has a very pleasing hoppy bitterness with some citrus notes on the tail end. This was a well done beer and one that would be worth trying if you ever get to this pub.

A lightly hazed orange amber ale with a thin off white head. A good restrained fragrant hops aroma, with meaty notes, grapefruits, classy. In mouth, a good Impy with oily malt and c-hops, grapefruits and warming alcohol. Rich and chamring. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 27 2009.

On-tap at the brewpub in New London, NH. Two finger white head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Almost clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Hoppy nose. Starts and finishes hoppy, brewer is right - "hoppier and more bitter than the IPA".
