New England Road Trip Easter ’05 with MartinT, tiggmtl and Rastacouere, beer #3. Small sample at the brewpub. Very pale, clear yellow with a touch of head and some (surprising) lacing..fresh, strongly grainy nose...flavor alas rather off, spoiled...cottony mouthfeel and sourness to finish.

tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 31, 2005
Mild citrus and grainy aroma. Clear, deep golden coloured body with creamy white cover of head. Lightly sour grapefruit hop flavour with some grainy malt character. Medium-light body seems somewhat unattenuated with plenty of residual sweetness. Fair carbonation. Sampled at the brewpub with MartinT, muzzlehatch and Rastacouere.

MartinT (6350) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 28, 2005
Nice lacing surrounds a slightly lactic, Kolsch-like aroma...Dry, citric hoppiness wades in the back, as a crisp yet smooth and creamy body encourages bigger gulps...I like the fact that many of their light beers are very low in alcohol...
