Duff_Lover (47), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA Sep 14, 2006 On tap at the brew pub. Smells fruity of hops. Appearance is a clear amber with a fizzy white head. Flavor is very bitter and not well balanced. Palate is nice and smooth though. I would definately opt for the Long Brothers Strong Ale over this. beerbuzzmontreal (2697), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Aug 6, 2005 Cloudy golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of fruity hops. Flavor of spicy and fruity hops. Light to medium body, creamy texture. Old_Mr_Crow (1004), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 24, 2005 Updated: Aug 29, 2005On tap at the brewpub.
A passable IPA, lighter and less bitter than those from many of the better microbreweries on the other coast. tiggmtl (4169), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Mar 31, 2005 Moderate American hop nose. Hazy golden-tan with decent white head that recedes to ring with some lace. Medium hop flavour with fair bitterness and grainy flavour. Medium body with fair carbonation. Sampled at the brewpub with MartinT, muzzlehatch and Rastacouere.
Rastacouere (5258), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Mar 29, 2005 Dark Gold, light white head. Strong oily citrus aroma (lemon slices) and vegetal earthiness seem to come from surprisingly mellow hops. Flavor is in line with the nose, hoppy, oily, full of citrus fruits. A sweet beginning that ends up in a long bitter aftertaste. Oily body, medium carbonation. Good regular IPA.
