2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ross (1913) - weddington, USA - AUG 19, 2007
22 oz bottle at an Indian place here in Charlotte. Pours out pale with a white head. Smell is corn, wheat, some sweet malt flavors.. not much going on. Taste is smooth and pretty refreshing. Not bad really, but not practical to drink every day. Went pretty good with the food, and one Indian at my table said he grew up drinking this in Bombay, so I guess if its good enough for them, its good enough for me. In a world full of bland pale lagers, this somewhat stands out.

yellow with moderate head. tastes of unpleasant funky corn. over carbonated. hard to find much redeeming about this one.

Long Island, NY @ The Curry Club - 650 mL poured a clear blond color with lots of lagery head. Taste was quite good. There was lots of pale malts with a hint of hops & citrus. Very solid Indian lager

A standard lager but where many are at least crisp in hop flavor, this one’s kind of muddy flavored
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Chudwick (562) - Taylor Mill (KY), FRANCE - FEB 5, 2012
22oz bottle - pours like a typical lager with pale yellow and quickly diminishing white head. Aroma differs from the style when it comes to the hops. One of them reminds me of a kolsch. Taste is mainly bitter. Though the aroma makes this beer stand out, it’s not exceptional.

This could be my very first Indian beer. Of course it’s a Pale Lager, probably introduced by British colonists, though that is just a guess. There’s really nothing unique about it other than that.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 seymour (785) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 7, 2011
Tasted from bottle at India Palace Restaurant, St Louis, Missouri, USA into standard pint glass. Pours a bright, clear straw color with creamy white head. Normal light lager aroma/taste: grainy, bready, barely perceptible hops, neutral, dry finish. Unmemorable, but it was cold and went fine with my hot butter chicken.

Pours pale yellow into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Adjunct aromas. Crisp with sweet corn and mild hops.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Elwood (1967) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - AUG 12, 2011
Serving: 650 ml. bottle from a local Indian restaurant. It pours pale yellow with a pretty good sized head of white foam. The nose is sweet malt and grain, but not offensive. The flavor leans towards the sweet and watery side with a little bit of stale bitterness in the back. Not a whole lot here. Somehow the alcohol comes out a bit as well. Leans towards the high side on carbonation. Not one I would select again by any means.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 geeklimit (95) - USA - MAY 21, 2011
Pours a very clear yellow with a tall fizzy head. Sweet honey-ish malt aroma. Sweet and fizzy mouthfeel with slight malt and microscopic astringent taste. Tiny sweet malt aftertaste. Drinkable, like carbonated water with a twist of malt. Pretty boring.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 marcus (4055) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAR 20, 2011
Bottle from BevMo. Pours clear yellow with a rich white head and a skunky lager aroma. There is almost no flavor other than a chalky pale malt finish.
