Lightly hazy gold beer, good fluffy cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a sharp minerally crispness. Thin malts. A little sherbet. Bitterish citric pith. Little orange. Traces of lemon and floral character. Crisp finish. Bitterisgh linger. Crisp and refreshing.

12oz bottle. Good appearance with a hazed gold base and large, fluffy white head. Fairly weak taste (befitting its 3.8% ABV): Lightly sweet grainy/bread notes & mild, citrus/grassy hops & hard water. Wouldn’t have guessed this to be a session IPA - the commercial deScription shown here of "American Pale Wheat Ale" (not shown on the bottle though) seems more appropriate.

Satyroneto (253) - BRAZIL - OCT 26, 2015

355ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with huge, frothy, widely to fully lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma has notes of mandarine and orange, hints of mandarine peel, a cautious touch of lime and lemongrass. Taste is dry, minimally soapy and chalky, hoppy, slightly disguised citrusy notes, lemon, a touch of lime; rather anaemic and slightly watery.

Bottle: Taster: Clear yellow body. White head. Herbal hoppy aroma. Some fruit and cabbage. Flavour is bitter, hoppy, herbal, light fruits and flower tones.. Aftertaste is herbal, hoppy, bitter, light fruity and some older flowers... Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, just medium bodied.

Appearance: cloudy medium gold with a short eggshell head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: tropical fruit and bready caramel, light citrus and pepper, some herbal. (6/10) Taste: moderate-high sweet, moderate bitter. (6/10) Palate: medium-light body, moderate-low carbonation, off-dry medium bitter finish. (3/5) I guess the biggest upside for this is that the flavour in no way hints to the very low ABV - it drinks pretty much like any number of full-on IPA’s I’ve had, though perhaps with a slightly lighter body. The down side is, it’s really not my preferred style of SIPA (or any IPA, for that matter), in the the malt is too emphatic. It might not be malt-forward as such, but the malt is definitely present and makes this sweeter than I’d like, particularly for a session beer. (12/20)

Cor dourada, turva. Espuma boa e de média persistência. Formação de perlage. Aroma de frutas tropicais e farinha de rosca. Paladar lupulado e refrescante. Retrogosto amargo e longo. Excelente para os dias quentes.

Benzai (11359) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 10, 2015
Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is lightly malts, hops, lightly grassy, lightly fruit hops. Tastes the same: nice hoppyness with a nice underlying maltyness, light to moderately bitter. Easy drinkable, nice hoppyness, nice bitterness. Yeah, quite like it.
