Bottle from the source. Pours a clear golden colour, fluffy white head, frost like lacing. Nose is sweet, a lot of other interesting smells, some very floral scents. Tastes a bit grainy , maybe a touch of corn, decent bitterness.

Bottle. Gold in colour with fairly strong carbonation. Aromas are of grass, melon, peach and herbs. Flavors are of tart citrus, crispy pale malt and more herbs. Light bodied and bone dry. A bit grainy on the back end and a touch minerally too. Pretty good for a low ABV beer

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color ale with a light white foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light dry wheat malt with light dry hoppy notes is OK. Taste is dominated by dry wheat malt with dry hoppy notes. Body is light with OK carbonation. A bit too dry for my taste and lacked drinkability I would expect for style.

Smashbomb light. Lighter in colour, lighter in taste, lighter head that quickly dissipates. Same price as smashbomb so I'd choose the better beer every time. Knock down the price a big and this could do really well.

czar (5549) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 23, 2015
pours unclear light yellow with a small white cap, some retention and lacing. spicy and peppery wheat, faint melons, papery/floury pale maltiness, citrus, catpee, clean yeast. light carbonation, light body, balanced peppery-citrusy finish. subtle floral and citrusy wheat ale. nice.

Bottle shared with czar because minderbinder quit. Almost clear pale gold pour with white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy, lots of wheat, melon, lemony. Taste is lightly bitter, grassy hop, wheaty, bready notes. Palate is light bodied, dry with light carbonation. Decent.

Bottle into IPA glass. Pours a clear golden yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma is floral and citrusy like tangerine. Taste is citrusy with nice grapefruity bitterness. Nice body for a 3.8%. This is a great beer.

Pale straw yellow pour with a foamy head. Has nice citrus flavours and a crisp refreshing level of carbonation. This was extra good because I couldn’t tell it was 3.8% - usually ISAs and session ales are usually a little thinner in texture or watery and this wasn’t.
