Sampled at Toronto Festival of Beers August 5, 2010. Deep brown-black pour with a small creamy tan head. Holy crap - tangerine!! There’s roast cocoa and herbal bitterness in the background, but this is all about the tangerine - and I LOVE tangerine. Taste follows - cocoa, roast and fresh, juicy, unsweetened ripe tangerine - (7+). Decent carbonation, average carbonaion, surprisingly not all that acidic - finishes quickly and leaves a back-of-tongue cocoa/herbal bitterness behind. This is good stuff.
