COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Heeding a chorus of voices crying for a dark roasty thing with lots of west coast hops and a higher ABV, we summoned Netherworld from the chaotic flipside of the brewhouse where hybrid is the norm and nothing is ordinary. Hovering just this side of evil, in the right hands, our «Cascadian Dark Ale» is bizarrely nice with its own entrancing mojo. However, watch out for those who refuse to see the darkness.

Hop dominated nose. Piney. Oily full palate. Minty taste after hop bite. Dark pour. Very little Porter or dark side to netherworld.

Botella.

Message de la capsule: In heaven there is no beer, so drink some now while you are here !

4/VII/15 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle @ RBBSG IV - BB: n/a, 2014 vintage (2015-876) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing the bottle!

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit of chlorine, some brown sugar, caramel, sweet, fruity notes. MF: soft carbon, medium body. taste: very bitter, hoppy, pretty resinous, citrus, piny, malty touch. Aftertaste: exotic fruits, sweet caramel, citrus, piny hops.

Negra rojiza casi opaca. Abunadante espuma beige.

Thanks to ElManana + 1! 355 ml. bottle sampled @ “Hot & Sweaty RBBSG 2015”. Dark brown, little tanned head. Nose is bitter pine resin mixed with caramel, mocha & cacao. Taste is bitter cacao, bitter roast, oddly touch vinous, bitter pine resin, cacao, cheap chocolate,… Good mouthfeel,… Decent but not exemplary.

12oz bottle, from Jeff. The bottled-on date is mostly covered by the upper label, and was illegible when I peeled the label off for a peek... Clear red brown color. Pours with a bigger khaki head, leaving thicker lace. Medium-plus body. Kind of soft, light to moderate carbonation. Dry finish. Chocolate, earthy hops, kind of herbal. Sort of spicy, mildly piney. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. A solid black IPA, enjoyable, but not that much interesting about it.

Not really black color. Great label. Good body. Citrus, toffee, caramel and herbs. Nice Black IPA.

Final moderadamente amargo y seco. Muy buena.
