Heeding a chorus of voices crying for a dark roasty thing with lots of west coast hops and a higher ABV, we summoned Netherworld from the chaotic flipside of the brewhouse where hybrid is the norm and nothing is ordinary. Hovering just this side of evil, in the right hands, our «Cascadian Dark Ale» is bizarrely nice with its own entrancing mojo. However, watch out for those who refuse to see the darkness.

First off Wow, this is one the best flavour out of a beer from ontario I have tasted. Aroma is hurting for this beer, it smelt almost like urine. But the taste was great, you can taste a lovely mix of hops and roasty malts. it just works well for this beer. Very good offering, recommend a taste

355ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours deep brown, with tan head, leaves some lacing. Aroma is sweet chocolate malt, big cascade hop finish. Decent balance. Enjoyable.

A dark brown IPA with a thick brown head. In aroma, nice peppery hops over chocolate malts, herbaceous and smooth. In mouth, a nicely roasted chocolate malt with lingering herbal hops, floral, pinhey, quite well done. Thanks probstk!

Very dark pour. Beige head. Great hop aroma. Citrus, pine, mild smoke. Great drinking beer, if a little surprising. Intense hop flavour gives way to a roasted core, hints of lemon and other fruits. A real surprise, kick in the pants kind of beer at first but otherwise totally brilliant. Smooth back end, a "can’t believe I just had three of those" type of beer.

355ml bottle into english pint glass. Deep ruby colour. Off-white head that left a little lacing. Aroma of hops, ripe fruit, malts. Taste of fruits and lots of hops, long slightly bitter finish. Another great beer from a brewery that continues to impress me.

Pours dark reddish brown. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and hops a plenty. Medium body with mild carbonation. Taste of roast malt, citrus, chocolate, coffee with a great bitter hop finish. Very well balanced with terrific amount of hops and overall a excellent beer I find myself craving quite often.

Bottle. Pours opaque black with nice light tan head. Citris aromas, sharp and zesty on the nose. Swirl of the glass allows a creamy smooth mouthfeel, Medium light body, balanced bitterness and a zing of citrus flavour balanced with the light roasty malts; some black and aciduated malt present giving a lactic and tar complex to the beer. Finish is nice, bitter, tangy, flavoursome and almost burnt with a touch of citric sourness. All in all an interesting brew.

Roasted malt. Mmm, vanilla and molasses...Begins hoppy-citrus, spice, ends light roasted coffee. Medium-dry bitter aftertaste.
