COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Heeding a chorus of voices crying for a dark roasty thing with lots of west coast hops and a higher ABV, we summoned Netherworld from the chaotic flipside of the brewhouse where hybrid is the norm and nothing is ordinary. Hovering just this side of evil, in the right hands, our «Cascadian Dark Ale» is bizarrely nice with its own entrancing mojo. However, watch out for those who refuse to see the darkness.

Pours a beautiful black with a thick foamy head. Smells wonderfully hoppy with a blend of malts and citrus. Initial taste is roasted malts followed by hop bitterness. Leaves a lasting coffee taste on the tongue. Light carbonation with a small amount of lacing on the glass. Excellent.

dark brown/black pour, 1 finger of head. Good lacing. Citrus hops and coffee in the aroma, grapefruit. Grapefruit up front, Bit of pine, coffee, roasted dark nut, roasted malt. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation. Fresher servings on tap have a bit more in the aroma. A hop-forward example of the style.

Pours almost black with a hazel colored head...as the beer warmed...aromas included a little smoke, vanilla, and coffee. On the palate, intense hops and espresso. Very nice beer.

Dark brown with a thin creamy head. Faint layer lingers throughout. Chocolately, coffee, hoppy aroma. Good hop flavour.

Very keen to try this because of it’s from Ontario and had a bunch of high ratings, but I was pretty disappointed. Smells great, looks great, tastes so uninteresting. Really unexciting, kinda all over the place, thin. Was let down.

355ml. bottle from the L.C.B.O. in Ottawa. The color is black with a thick beige head. The taste is of hops, spicies.berries, and roasted malt. A very distinctive taste for a black I.P.A. The aroma is also of hops and roasted malt. It leaves a nice lingering taste in the mouth. Over all a very pleasant experiance. And nice reading.

Pours a clear dark colour with traces of deep ruby. Dark chocolate and coffee dominate the aroma. Mild hopping is evident as well. The dark malts are balanced with a healthy dose of west coast hops in the flavour. Meduim bodied with some lively carbonation. Tasty.
