At Gambrinus. Very deep dark brown, almost black like the ace of spades.Pours a frothy cap of mocha froth. Interesting nose of smoke, peat, dark chocolate, char, and vanilla. Quite bold, almost no sweetness, high bitterness and astringency. Like a smoky piece of black licorice. Creamy, heated, oily mouthfeel with a very bitter and smoked aftertaste. Very good as a sipper. And I did sip it as a sipper. After supper. Drink with friends for more effect.
