[on cask at Beau’s Oktoberfest, 2012] Aroma is Swedish fish/berries--sweet and fruity. Hazy red-bronze under a large, white, bubbly ring. Sweet base malt underlies strong Swedish fish/berries flavour that is offset by an appropriate bitterness. Medium body, low carbonation, moderately bitter finish.

Cask. En fût, verre de dégustation au Beau’s Oktoberfest 2012 (Vankleek Hill, ONT). Arôme: Odeur d’hibiscus avec une pointe fruitée. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’houblons et d’hibiscus avec une pointe d’épices. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Présence d’hibiscus en arrière goût. (Rating #4567)

[4769-20120914] Cask. Cotton candy apple floss aroma hints at chocolate raspberry duds. Hazy, reddish brown body with a quick bubbly white head. More raspberry dark chocolate in the flavour with floral sweetness throughout. Medium body. Really interesting sweet floral characteristics. (8/3/8/4/17) 4.0

A hazed reddish brown IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, a smooth nutty caramel with rose hibsicus notes, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice burned caramel with sweet notes, hisbiscus, very nice. Cask at Beau’s Oktoberfest, Sept. 29 2012.

Appearance pink ruby with red. Lighter top , no lace.2+
Flavor and Palate : Sweet creamy feel with herbal character of hibiscus tea. Good rendering and presentation of noted flavours. Solid brew.

cask days @ beau’s oktoberfest, 2012. hazy golden with a small white cap. very flowery, fruity esters - blueberries, very lightly toasted malts. light body - oily, nice citrusy-flowery finish. interesting.

Drank on cask at the Vankleek Hill Oktoberfest 2012, September 29. Aroma of red fruit and hibiscus, a bit hoppy. Taste of weak hibiscus, slightly hoppy and juicy, fruit bitter. It’s a strange beer, but interesting, I think!

Cask at Vankleek Hill’s/Beau’s Oktoberfest. Hazy pink with short lasting white head. Smell is roses. Taste is sweet hibiscus, some light spices, herbal taste. Quite a solid herbal finish (roses?), lingers on for quite a while. Light bodied. Good for what it’s supposed to be.

Cask at C’est What Fall Festival of Small Breweries, Sept. 14. Pours a murky orange-amber with a small lasting bubbly white head. Aroma: Hmmm, I think I quite like this, very fruity and not much else. Flavour is also fruity, with lots of berries, just a bit sugary sweet. Light bitter finish. Average bodied. I loved it at first but it does get a bit cloying over time. Good though.

2012-09-14. Hazy pink-orange body, light frothy tan head. 3+ Very nice fruity sweet aroma is quite interesting, sort of floral, with notes of berry fruit. Hints of cotton candy after Mabel comments on it? 7+ Flavour is quite sweet and fruity, floral notes, a flavour I can not quite define but I want to describe as a gourmet Kool Aid like fruitiness, berry accents, light bitterness in the finish. Smooth average plus to medium bodied palate has a soft carbonation to it. Super interesting, and I love the aroma. The flavour is nice but is too intensely sweet to enjoy more than a small glass, for me at least. VERY interesting. On cask? at C’est What Festival of Small Breweries
