4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
slightly cloudy amber-orange colour from a bottle. 1 finger head that quickly thins to barely more than a film on the surface. lots of tropical, citrus, grass and piney hops with caramel malts definitely in the background. Medium body with a slightly soapy feel. Taste is very bitter and long lasting, again with the fruity, citrus and grassy hops dominating. The malts are there, but very muted next to the strong hops. Overall a good solid IPA

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Single bottle purchased from Co-op Wine & Spirits in Calgary, AB on 11/01/2012. Colour: Light brown, medium head. Nose: Bursts with hop goodness right out of the gates. Lotís of summer flowers and grass, as well as some distinguishable vegetation. Malt plays 2nd fiddle well with nice caramel character. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium-high bitter, medium-light sour. Crazy soapy, citrus hops come pounding forward and simply donít let up through mid to late palate. Soap gets stronger as it goes. There is also some ash late as well. Very much an enjoyable hop blaster.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Intense pine, tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, citrus zest, and dare I say dill pickle dominate the aroma. Pours a very light amber with a strong long lasting head. The bitterness coats the tongue that leads to a long lasting citrus/tropical fruit finish. One of my favorite IPAís.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
2012-10-15, bottle from LCBO, Toronto, 7-4-8-5-15=39
Amber color, clear, with generous head. The aroma is milder than expected, but fresh and interesting, with fruity/resiny hops, acquiring a very light earthy character later. Lean mouthfeel, smooth; good caramel and toffee flavor; the hop is resiny and hoppy; the final is balanced, powerful and long.
2012-10-13, draught at Volo, 7-5-7-4-15=38
Dark amber color, creamy head. Nice aroma, caramelly, a bit creamy, and with some cheesy yeast. Good caramel and toffee flavor, strong presence of cheesy yeast, strong bitterness. It has some ending astringency, and resins.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 2, 2013 LCBO Six Pack - Looks and smells like it puts the Imperial in IPA. The taste will clear a room of Hollister t-shirts like a "Fat Man" went off.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
355ml bottle. What do you expect from the flying monkeys? Hops, hops and HOPS. Pours a murky, yellow orange with a meringue white head. Very lacey. Aroma is tremendous: pine, grass and citrus waves! And a hoppy taste that IPA lovers will pucker over in joy! Very bitter: pine needles and lemon drops. The kicker is, you actually do keep sampling and sampling until its gone!

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Cask at Vankleek Hillís/Beauís Oktoberfest. Hazy orange. Smell is floral hops. Taste is caramel and cereals. Extremely hoppy: lemon, herbal, grapefruits. Tons of hops, very resilient. Medium bodied. A very, very solid IPA. Worth another shot.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a hazy amber with a quickly receding medium off-white head that leaves minimal lacing. Nose is of grapefruit and other citrus and floral notes. High carbonation on the palate with very small bubbles and good mouth feel. Taste is seriously hoppy with some resinous pine, citrus fruits and floral bitterness with a very long, lingering bitter aftertaste. Light taste of malt and some sweetness, but the hops are at the forefront here, and it all comes together to make an excellent IPA. Definitely a keeper!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2012 Sept. 28 2012. 355ml bottle pours cloudy apricot orange with an inch meringue off white head that lasts to bottom and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit hops strong enough to give warning that this will be unbearable to those who donít appreciate hops. Some slight malty sweetness like candy is also present on nose. Each sip is blast of grapefruit hops which dominates the sweet biscuit malt. A battle between sweet and bitter that end in a well balanced tie but sucks all the moisture out of your mouth. Long dry finish that doesnít go away. Definitely a bold strong hops beer. Almost enough to drink as a dare but not too much that its still fantastic.
