3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tropical fruit aroma, resin, slightly earthy. Not much malt here, mainly hop aroma. Black tea coloured, fluffy off white head. Tropical fruit flavor, then comes the malt and some not overwhelming hop bitterness. A bit light palate. Soft carbonation. Very balanced, a pretty good IPA.

J’avais bien hâte de gouter à cette bière et je n’ai pas été déçu! Une excellente IPA, qui conjugue le houblon terreux et les notes d’agrume. Excellent équilibre.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared at Campground Brewdown. Poured a thinner looking hazy amber with a smaller off white head. Aroma of harsh wet hops, hint of alcohol, wet burnt toast and some metallic copper. Medium body with average carbonation that is on the stingy side. Flavor was grains, dry hop comes and some grassy hops. Meh, okay.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from LCBO, pours a clear medium golden colour. A 1/4 inch creamy head that quickly dissipates leaving minimal lacing. The aroma is of yeast, pine, and grapefruit. Initially it offers a great Hops kick, with a nice lingering bitter aftertaste. As the beer warms up the citrus notes show through, I get the sensation of a stick of juicy fruit gum with a hops kicker! Very drinkable, and a great beer overall. This is my first sampling of Flying Monkey, looking forward to many more!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from bottle. Poured medium gold colour with nice frothy head that lasted forever. Aroma....wow, very floral and citrus. Taste...wow again !! This one is hard. On one hand, the full grapefruit like bitterness was almost a bit too much for me. On the other, it was so full and so bold, you have to respect it and enjoy it. I love their names and their marketing. Lots of hops, and lots of flavour.
