UPDATED: APR 16, 2013 A good IPA. I guess only thing i didnít like was the bitterness of the beer kind of stuck around in my mouth a bit to long.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
355ml bottle from the LCBO. Yet another delicious hoppy IPA. Lots of suspended sediment which, as usual, signifies deliciousness.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Though I love supporting the Flying Monkeys brewery, my one consistent complaint for the Smashbomb Atomic IPA is it has a somewhat bitter after-taste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (355 ml). Thanks to czar! Amber with a medium to large white head and good lacing. Aroma is of tropical fruits and malt along with some piney notes. Taste is moderately sweet and malty along with tropical fruits and piney notes. Moderate bitterness. Medium body. Palate is sticky. Too malty for my liking but still a very good IPA. Drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. May have been a little old. Hop aroma was present but muted. A lot of citrus and tropical fruit, but very subdued. Flavor was citrus, grapefruit, maybe some peach. Nice caramel malt backbone. Solid IPA. Iíd love to try this one fresh.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Really delicious, and totally unexpected from an Ontario craft brewery! Very cool to have this from my home province. Makes me wonder what else is out there from Canada these days?
Big hoppy presence - especially citrus in the aroma and flavor. Lots of bite, a beautiful orange/amber color. Frothy white head.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a lighter orangy gold with some haze. Medium sized foamy head. Spritzy mouthfeel. Aromas of fresh hops, and lemon with a bit of bready notes. Spicy and citric with a good load of lemon grass and herb in the finish. A decent IPA

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
pours a golden brown with thick, white head. lots of grapefruit, lemon peel and bitterness in this. mouthfeel is extremely creamy which is really what puts this IPA above many others. great balance and rather easy-drinking despite the high IBU.
