"Holy Hop, Batman, this beer has aroma." Hops are casted nine different times, itís a breath-deep-and-shudder-with-pleasure kind of scent thatís all from the Citra hops. With a high alpha acid of 11%, Citra has a cacauphony of flavours and aromas --Citrus, passion fruit, grapefruit, lime, melon, lychee fruit, pineapple, mango, and papaya Ė and dominates this beer.

Smashbombs olfactory tropical explosion shockwaves your face every time you lift the meringue foam towards you. Itís like the ecru-coloured top of a beer pie before it gives up and grips the glass. You can see the Victory maltís signature in the amber lights in what is primarily a deep golden beer. And, yes, donít be fooled --thereís malt going on here, too, as youíll see in the firey body of this ale that makes Smashbomb Atomic look like it radiates its own energy.

With the first taste, Smashbombís 70 IBUs are pronounced. This brew is a little bitter, but bitter like a grapefruit with three tablespoons of sugar on top. Itís also incredibly drinkable. The oddity thatíll keep you tipping the glass is that as this citrus peel front subsides, you actually gleen the sweet flavours of the Victory and Crystal malts. Then, as the bread-puddiní bicuity sweetness of the malts are chased by the dry, tropical flavour of Citra and the fruit punch bouquet is all in your face with each sip, itís all is so damn intriguing, youíll be driven to keep on sampling...and sampling.

Espuma poco persistente, sabores afrutados y maltosos, gran cuerpo, olores intensos y alcoholicos.

Thank you Paula for this IPA. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a shaker. Citrus orange aroma. Not very strong but very appealing. Small frothy off-white head that seems to last. Clear copper orange color. Thick texture. The taste was decent. A bit of an dry aftertaste. The flavor and balance seemed to improve when I got toward the end of the glass.

Uma explosão de lúpulos e sabores cítricos. Excelente IPA. Muito saborosa e amargor extremo sem perder o sabor!

I am not a huge ipa fan. I tried this because the deScription sounded like I might like it. Overall I thought it was a very good ipa. It wasnít overally hoppy. Good summer brew.

Clear amber color with medium white head. Aroma is citric, with mandarine and lime, floral and also has passion fruit, with a caramel background. Medium body and also medium carbonation. Taste follows the aroma, citrus, resin, tropical fruits and pine, with a marked floral character. Dry finish, with a very persistent bitterness.

Citra hop all-around. A slight taste of malt. Long bitterness and aroma of orange peel. Loose a lot of flavors after a couple of days in the fridge. Drink fresh.

355 ml bottle. Pours a clear, golden orange with a medium, frothy, off-white head that laces. Sweet fruity, citrus aroma with malt and caramel. Sweet fruity flavour of grapefruit, pine, resin, malt and caramel with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Ok, but I was expecting more.

bottle. Amber in color with average-sized frothy off-white head. Sparkling clear. Heavy hoppy aroma of spruce and citrus. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Heavily bitter flavor, this is a real hop bomb. I enjoyed it.

Damn! Surprise of the year so far. One of the best IPAís Iíve had in a long time. Aroma was strong grapefruit, lemon and notes of mango. Pour was a nice enough medium gold with a one finger film for a head. Taste was fantastic. On par with a West Coaster...strongly resinous with pine, grapefruit rind and burning bitterness. There is a slight maltiness that tames the strong bitter flavor just enough to make the beer complex. Nice carbonation and a slightly sticky, bitter almost sour finish.
