COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Holy Hop, Batman, this beer has aroma." Hops are casted nine different times, itís a breath-deep-and-shudder-with-pleasure kind of scent thatís all from the Citra hops. With a high alpha acid of 11%, Citra has a cacauphony of flavours and aromas --Citrus, passion fruit, grapefruit, lime, melon, lychee fruit, pineapple, mango, and papaya Ė and dominates this beer.

Smashbombs olfactory tropical explosion shockwaves your face every time you lift the meringue foam towards you. Itís like the ecru-coloured top of a beer pie before it gives up and grips the glass. You can see the Victory maltís signature in the amber lights in what is primarily a deep golden beer. And, yes, donít be fooled --thereís malt going on here, too, as youíll see in the firey body of this ale that makes Smashbomb Atomic look like it radiates its own energy.

With the first taste, Smashbombís 70 IBUs are pronounced. This brew is a little bitter, but bitter like a grapefruit with three tablespoons of sugar on top. Itís also incredibly drinkable. The oddity thatíll keep you tipping the glass is that as this citrus peel front subsides, you actually gleen the sweet flavours of the Victory and Crystal malts. Then, as the bread-puddiní bicuity sweetness of the malts are chased by the dry, tropical flavour of Citra and the fruit punch bouquet is all in your face with each sip, itís all is so damn intriguing, youíll be driven to keep on sampling...and sampling.

Really delicious, and totally unexpected from an Ontario craft brewery! Very cool to have this from my home province. Makes me wonder what else is out there from Canada these days? Big hoppy presence - especially citrus in the aroma and flavor. Lots of bite, a beautiful orange/amber color. Frothy white head.

Draught. Clear amber. Solid lacing. Aroma of biscuit, citrus, fruit, caramel, pine. Taste is sweet, and solid bitterness. Palate is sticky and a bit chewy, with a big bitter dry finish.

Nothing can match the true king of beer. Nothing. This is the type of Beer you savour. You spend 5 minutes just smelling it. And every sip is like liquid joy. Dozens of beers later and this remains my number 1. Too bad it's so hard to find up North.

Tasted from the tap at the Barcelona Beer festival (13/03/2015). Hazy amber colour. Aroma of tropical fruits, hops and malts. Taste is fruity and grainy. Balanced beer. Next one please!

Pours an amber hazy beer mounted with a beautiful and lasting foamy/genereous white head - in a Belgian kind of way. Super fresh aromas of pine, citrus, hops, honey. Once I dove ionto this beer, I felt like a child running across a filed of flowers by a warm spring day with a big smile on my face! Taste has the bitterness of grass, young flowers, humidity after a big rain in the valley. Wow! Medium/light body, this beer cuts dry on the middle on the tongue. Maybe a bit narrow but this one stills very drinkable and enjoyable!

Botella. Color ambar limpido. Espuma beige de media formacion y baja persistencia pero deja marca en baso. Aroma muy tropical algo resinado y a malta. Textura cremosa fina y carbonatacion media. En boca es dulce en un primer momento y frutal, uva y puede ser algo de melon. El final amrgo medio, con toker resinados y herbales. Buena IPA. SŪ!

12 oz bottle from Guelph LCBO, thanks Peter. Aroma: grapefruit, citrus, papaya, lemon. App: Hazy copper-orange with small white head and some lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, resinous, average carbonation, medium long bitter finish. Overall: Probably one of the best IPA from Ontario. Itís really good. Would have preferred to have it more piney but I still enjoyed it.

An incredibly aromatic beer - tons of mango and citrus flavours on the nose. Clear orange pour with a foamy head and great lacing. Tropical flavours of mango, pineapple, papaya, guava, etc. Delicious.

Nice amber slight muddy color with LOTS of foam (first beer of the keg, to be fair). The smell is sweetish and a bit old. The taste is bitter, but not the fresh hoppy kind of bitter. Rather sweetish and with thin carbonation. Quite round beer, but by far not as atomic or smashbomby as I expected.

Beautiful amber-orange color with huuge white head. Aroma of toffee and pines. Taste is also toffe, pines, bitter, sweet fruits. Smooth carbonation with a warming finish. Nice!
