"Holy Hop, Batman, this beer has aroma." Hops are casted nine different times, itís a breath-deep-and-shudder-with-pleasure kind of scent thatís all from the Citra hops. With a high alpha acid of 11%, Citra has a cacauphony of flavours and aromas --Citrus, passion fruit, grapefruit, lime, melon, lychee fruit, pineapple, mango, and papaya Ė and dominates this beer.

Smashbombs olfactory tropical explosion shockwaves your face every time you lift the meringue foam towards you. Itís like the ecru-coloured top of a beer pie before it gives up and grips the glass. You can see the Victory maltís signature in the amber lights in what is primarily a deep golden beer. And, yes, donít be fooled --thereís malt going on here, too, as youíll see in the firey body of this ale that makes Smashbomb Atomic look like it radiates its own energy.

With the first taste, Smashbombís 70 IBUs are pronounced. This brew is a little bitter, but bitter like a grapefruit with three tablespoons of sugar on top. Itís also incredibly drinkable. The oddity thatíll keep you tipping the glass is that as this citrus peel front subsides, you actually gleen the sweet flavours of the Victory and Crystal malts. Then, as the bread-puddiní bicuity sweetness of the malts are chased by the dry, tropical flavour of Citra and the fruit punch bouquet is all in your face with each sip, itís all is so damn intriguing, youíll be driven to keep on sampling...and sampling.

Lives up to itsí name - smashing your senes with an explosion of citrus hops. The greatest thing since sliced bread? This liquid bread.

Perhaps my favorite beer to have on draught. A truly robust hoppiness they awakens the tongue but not at all offensively. Unfortunately, the bottled version doesnít quite have the same magic.

Great aroma with an amazing hoppy taste that sets it apart from other so called hoppy beers, as the warning on the bottle says, this flavorful IPA ruins you for lamer beers! Great beer

Golden amber colour; hoppy, citrus and honey aromas with yeasty, biscuit flavours. The initial aroma shockwave that hits your face is the explosive Citra hop with citrusy, piney, and tropical aromas. Then the bitter hop flavor is trailed by the blooming of bready malts balancing the dry atomic burn.

Nothing can match the true king of beer. Nothing. This is the type of Beer you savour. You spend 5 minutes just smelling it. And every sip is like liquid joy. Dozens of beers later and this remains my number 1. Too bad it's so hard to find up North.

IPA does not get any better than this. Good balance of malt and hops, not overly bitter. I could drink this all day.

Bottle then unfiltered from the tank @ Flying Monkey in Barrie, Ontario. Oh my goodness. If youíre not drinking Flying Monkey yet you will be by the time they start shipping this beauty to stores in March. It makes Hoptical Illusion look and taste like the ugly red red head next door. The mango aroma is entirely unique and inviting. Hoptastic kick in the teeth on first taste, and it doesnít quit. I get some other aromas here but the star is certainly the mango. Surprisingly, itís pretty malty, too. Super body. I would have run off with the tank had I been able to find a wrench. More, please! Aside - you can get this on tap at the Local Gastropub in Barrie. Tried to talk two guys into trying it. They did. Turned their noses up and said itís "not a Coors." Sigh. FML.

Ohhh itís sooo good!!! This one is truly sweet if you embellish it and let it rest on the palate and enjoy. This one is dry finish with the amazingness of the hops and malt combo. Enjoy this spectacular beer.

On tap in Bracebridge poured amber with lasting head. Aroma and taste full of floral and citrus elements. I am enjoying this beer immensely, as I am an IPA lover, and looking forward to real IPAs like this Ontario.
