3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Really nice IPA that is basically just a citrus bomb beer that has a cutting amount of alcohol.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Itís funny to wait this long to finally rate this iconic Ontario IPA! Back in the day it was the original Ontario Citra hop bomb. Times have changed! The Smashbomb is now a pale shadow of its former self - a tasty and pleasant IPA, but nothing like an actual "Smashbomb Atomic" event at all. The nose leads with sweet bready malt with some pleasant and fresh hoppiness in tow. The nose is replicated in the taste profile - tropical fruit, and splashes of lemon and orange in the mild hop profile, underpinned by soft malts. Fresh and refreshing, but a commercialized version of its former ground-breaking self.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
2015/09/26 - Pours a clear copper colour with a thick, foamy white head that slowly reduces and leaves ample lacing. Aroma is biscuit, honey, citrus, light tropical fruits, roasted malt, caramel and slight pine. Taste is roasted malt, honey, light pine, mild citrus and biscuit, Mouthfeel is medium and slightly chewy with sharp carbonation and and long, bittersweet finish. Pretty good; nothing exceptional, but certainly better than most.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty good complex IPA. not straightforward hopyness, but some funk and dryness in there that makes it interesting, but not excellent.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle from Santa shared with drsordr. Pours a hazy dark golden orange color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor are very malty, bready, mild sweetness, honey, some soft fruit in the background, light herbal, earthy, some mild to mild plus bitterness to the finish, ok.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared by alexsdad06, not sure how old, pour dark gold with moderate white head. Nose hint of tropical fruit, sweet malt. Taste moderate bitter bite up front, followed by dank hop and light tropical fruit. Mid palate bitter then bteady malt. Long bitter finish. Unfortunately the flavors in this sample are muted throughout.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at guirigall. Hazy orange small smooth white head. Mild aroma of malts and flowery hops. Flavor is malty and quite strong plain hoppy. Some caramelly sweetness too. Pretty straight ipa but the hops are just bitter no flowers at all. A little too much caramel.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden orange colour. Loads of fruity hop in the aroma. Some sugary tropical fruits in the taste together with a solid malt background. Balanced and sessionable.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy deep golden with an off-white head. Aroma of citric and piney hops, slightly stale, with a malty note. Flavor has light maltiness, slightly stale hops and big bitterness. Medium-bodied. Decent IPA
