Clear rusty colored pour with a very white head. Not much scent. A bit of grassy hops. Rather pleasant and easy to drink. Wet and refreshing. There’s quite a bit going on here but I’m having a hard time picking out specifics. A little sweet. Very clean finish. A bit over carbonated. Easy to drink. I can see picking up a 6 of these for a Nove afternoon BBQ. I’m still rally impressed by Flying Monkey.

Not bad. Hoppy to the point of sour. A good offering from Flying Monkey, but the boys in Barrie have done much better work.

Pours a cloudy golden colour, with a crisp light head that quickly fades. Aroma notes are of light malts, wheat funk, and light fruits. The tasting notes were a little light for my taste, more light malts with some fruitiness in the background. Decent brew, but not very memorable.

355ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is mostly caramel notes, with some vanilla, and pine. Light bodied, and slightly watery with light caramel notes, faint resinous hops and bitterness from the wheat. Make me think watered down Brooklyn Lager. Not bad. Warm weather beer for sure.

On tap at Bar Hop...listed as Kristall and was happy to finally get that tick but o well. Amber with a biege creamy head. Somewhat bitter and floral hops, caramel but not too sweet malt, wheat. Moderate carbonation, mild body, slighty off putting finish with a hint of salt.

Bottle from LCBO. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet fruit punch and malt. Taste starts off sweet, with pepper and fruit, then moves to a bitter hoppy finish. I can see why this is called an "Amber Ale" on ratebeer - it is more of an "Amber Ale brewed with wheat" than a "Wheat Ale that happens to be amber".

A decent beer even though there’s nothing to be carried away. Pours a clear amber colour with almost no head. Aroma of wheat, hops. Taste of wheat, a whole field of it.

Although a noble venture in their attempt it doesn’t quite come out as being a great beer. Short on aroma, a little biscuity and with mild citrus. Head diminishes rapidly, decent colour. Taste lacks the european wheat beers complexity, although it is a clean finishing beer with a nice amount of bittering.

Interesting beer. Uses wheat malt but is very much in a north American amber lager vein. Nice big white head to start, deep golden colour. Nose is cereal, light citrus and grassy floral hops. Nice snappy carbonation up front and through the middle, light medium body, bready flavour with some fruit in the rear. Very clean and crisp, I could very well imagine having a sixer at a BBQ, looking down my nose at the Bud Light Lime contingent....
