Bottled, from Systembolaget. Dark brown, brief head. Concentrated aroma of plum brandy and milk chocolate. Very sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Milk chocolate with extra sugar, cherries, vanilla and cocoa powder. Candyish and superficial.

Beer tasting @ fillepolo 27/5-16. A lot of milk chocolate with cacao, vanilla and nutty notes. Also reminds me of coffee mixed with baileys Body is medium, the finish is chocolatey with the coffee/baileys taste.

75 cl bottle @ home. Pours black with a tan head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are chocolate, cocoa, and toasted malt - with a sweet finish. A bit one dimensional.

Countbeer (5959) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - APR 23, 2016
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Blackish brown beer with a lively brown head. Lot of chocolate/milk chocolate in the aroma with some praline, mocha and a hint of lactose. Flavour has loads and loads of (milk) chocolate (duh) with cacoa, some mocha and some kind of chocolate fudge/cookies... But there’s room for a little more:bitters, light roast, lighter tobacco and lightest coal. Aftertaste has massive (milk) chocolate with chocate easyer eggs, some praline, roast and bitters. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, between medium and full bodied. Quite tasty. Great label and box!

(Flying Monkeys The Chocolate Manifesto ) Bottle 750 ml at home, served into a snifter, ABV 10% Black coloured body with one finger of thick, dark beige head on top, with good retention. Aroma has lots of milky chocolate, vanilla, fudge, chocolate cake, chocolate powder, basically whatever you cn think of that is sweet chcolate, is there. Taste is sweet with the chocolae dominating over anything else, a liquid dessert actually like chocolate ice-cream or cake, you name it, brownies maybe, vanilla on the finish and well-hidden alcohol. Medium body, nicely carbonated. Great dessert beer.

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2016 From the moment the crown cap is popped you’re hit with the most intoxicating aromas of deep rich decadent chocolate you can imagine. Easy biggish head, leads to wonderful mouthy flavours of chocolate truffle, chocolate marshmellow, chocolate mousse, chocolate syrup, chocolate cream and more chocolate. If it had a more fuller body with deeper concentration of even more chocolate this would have received a big 5 rating from me. But as it is, it is still absolutely sensational and by far the best chocolate stout you’ll ever find.
