Beer Review Flying Monkeys - The Chocolate Manifesto Triple Chocolate Milk Stout. Wow you can really smell the chocolate as soon as the top was popped. Reminded me of the local chocolate factory (yes we had a chocolate factory here). Very dark pour with a moca head. Man I can still really smell it as Iím typing this and my glass is more then armís length away. Tadtes just like it smells. Nice dark thick and reminiscent of good Green & Black dark chocolate. Thereís a smokinees in there as well. This is good. Damn good. I think I will be going back to ghe LCBO tomorrow to pick up any bottles they have left.

Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Blackish brown beer with a lively brown head. Lot of chocolate/milk chocolate in the aroma with some praline, mocha and a hint of lactose. Flavour has loads and loads of (milk) chocolate (duh) with cacoa, some mocha and some kind of chocolate fudge/cookies... But thereís room for a little more:bitters, light roast, lighter tobacco and lightest coal. Aftertaste has massive (milk) chocolate with chocate easyer eggs, some praline, roast and bitters. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, between medium and full bodied. Quite tasty. Great label and box!

(Flying Monkeys The Chocolate Manifesto ) Bottle 750 ml at home, served into a snifter, ABV 10% Black coloured body with one finger of thick, dark beige head on top, with good retention. Aroma has lots of milky chocolate, vanilla, fudge, chocolate cake, chocolate powder, basically whatever you cn think of that is sweet chcolate, is there. Taste is sweet with the chocolae dominating over anything else, a liquid dessert actually like chocolate ice-cream or cake, you name it, brownies maybe, vanilla on the finish and well-hidden alcohol. Medium body, nicely carbonated. Great dessert beer.

From the moment the crown cap is popped youíre hit with the most intoxicating aromas of deep rich decadent chocolate you can imagi e. Easy biggish head, leads to wonderful mouthy flavours of chocolate truffle, chocolate marshmellow, chocolate mousse, chocolate syrup, chocolate cream and more chocolate. If it had a more fuller body with deeper concentration of even more chocolate this would have received a big 5 rating from me. But as it is, it is still absolutely sensational and by far the best chocolate stout youíll ever find.

750ml bottle. Dark brown, opaque body, medium chocolate head with good retention, nice looking lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate, peppermint, coffee, herbs, cocoa liquor. Taste of well-done toast, dark chocolate, milk shake, vanilla, light hops, peppermint. Very nice and refreshing.

Was park when poured, but appeared dark Brown with off-wite/light beige head. Smells of sweet milkchocolate and dry cacao, where the cacao smell stays longer in the nose. Taste is milk chocolate and cacao as well, but with depth. Associate the tastes with sweetness, but it is actually more semidry. Would like something to supplement the chocolate, it is not too drinkable.

Poured from a bottle. Pours a deep dark brown with a thin tan ring. Light carbonation and some lacing. Medium creamy body. Aroma of dark chocolate and some roasted malts. Nice, bitter sweet dark chocolate taste with some roasted malt flavor. Hides the alcohol well. Could have been a little better if it was more milk chocolate instead of dark. Very good and enjoyable.

Svart och ganska stilla. Tydlig doft och choklad, nästan sötsliskig. Smaken är ännu mer choklad, som oboy med lite kaffe. Lite för mycket för min smak ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Shads house, lots of chocolate on this one, sweeter stout. Very light on the roast and roasty malts.
