Beer Review Flying Monkeys - The Chocolate Manifesto Triple Chocolate Milk Stout. Wow you can really smell the chocolate as soon as the top was popped. Reminded me of the local chocolate factory (yes we had a chocolate factory here). Very dark pour with a moca head. Man I can still really smell it as I’m typing this and my glass is more then arm’s length away. Tadtes just like it smells. Nice dark thick and reminiscent of good Green & Black dark chocolate. There’s a smokinees in there as well. This is good. Damn good. I think I will be going back to ghe LCBO tomorrow to pick up any bottles they have left.

Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted sweet chocolate, tobacco and alcohol aroma. Heavy sweet roasted malt flavor with a heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a solid beer.

Wonderful. Not complex, but incredibly flavorful. Solid milk stout, with strong chocolate overtones.

750 ml bottle shared by DrSilverworm. Pours a dark cola brown color with a thin khaki ring. The aroma and flavor have big sweet chocolate, vanilla, some lactose, becomes almost syrupy chocolate and very sweet, I like it, but wouldn’t want to drink a bunch of this.

750ml bottle, thanks to Micah W. for sharing. Geez... Nose is exactly like nestle chocolate milk. The nestle powder you put in milk. Cocoa puffs. Dark brown color. Thin light brown head. Leaves good dots and short ropes of lace. Some vanilla in the flavor. Lactose. Moderate sweet taste, light bitterness. Kind of a spicy taste in the finish. Alcohol is well hidden, just a light spicy bite at the end. Pretty nice chocolate milk stout. Fascinating nose. Reminds me of drinking nestle cocoa milk in Beirut.

Intensiver Kakaogeruch. 8/8/7/8/12/7

Poured a dark black colour with a thick mocha/caramel head that had decent retention and much lace. Had a rich aroma that reminded me of a powdered hot chocolate. Very sweet chocolatey taste which masks the taste of hops and malted barley. Borders on the realm of a true dessert beer. Alcohol also hits very quickly.

Pours a light defying deep dark brown with a lush mocha colored 3 finger cap goes to a surface lace. Aroma – what can I say chocolate and milk sweetness – chocolate milk … but is this this gorgeous concoction beer?? ….lets see – malts and hop have a hard time breaking through the coca and lactose richness but they do mid palate and more so in the big wet viscous finish – if this beer has a signature it is the cocoa/lactose intensity is barely held in tow but pleasant – and not a hint of the substantive alcohol these intense flavours hide – a beautiful big bad brew. 2 thumbs up

pours black with a dark brown head. Huge chocolate aroma right when I opened the bottle. everything about this is chocolate. alcohol is very well hidden. has an oily mouth feel. full bodied. does not finish as bitter as you might think. Pretty much as close to perfect as I could imagine. Make this in a nitro version, would be fantastic.

Scent of tootsie roll and white chocolate. Opaque brown colour. Strong chocolate flavour with slight bitter finish. Creamy mouth-feel with low carbonation. Great beer.
