Beer Review Flying Monkeys - The Chocolate Manifesto Triple Chocolate Milk Stout. Wow you can really smell the chocolate as soon as the top was popped. Reminded me of the local chocolate factory (yes we had a chocolate factory here). Very dark pour with a moca head. Man I can still really smell it as I’m typing this and my glass is more then arm’s length away. Tadtes just like it smells. Nice dark thick and reminiscent of good Green & Black dark chocolate. There’s a smokinees in there as well. This is good. Damn good. I think I will be going back to ghe LCBO tomorrow to pick up any bottles they have left.

Bouteille 750ml.

Cremig, rund. Geil.

Bottle 750ml.

[ As Flying Monkeys The Chocolate Manifesto ].
Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is heavy, chocolate, cacao, milk chocolate, dark chocolate (BIG time chocolate almost like liquid chocolate). Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long long duration, huge chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, cacao, sweet chocolate, chocolate bitter. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. Wow that is chocolate liquid :D [20150513]

Dark brown pour with practically no head. Aroma is crazy chocolate. Like chocolate syrup. Get some alcohol in there too. The taste is pretty gross. Taste is medicinal and fake. Not good.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium dark brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing notes. Aroma of pure chocolate notes with some sweet notes is pretty intense but enjoyable. Taste is pure chocolate and coca notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol notes. Enjoyable in small quantities as I find that drinking too much gets a bit gross with light flavouring notes coming out too much.

Poured a medium yo darker tepid brown with a tiny beige head. Aroma was big milk chocolate and Tootsie rolls. Flavor similar, but a bit astringent, and verywatery and no depth.

Bottle from the store at the brewery. Pours a deep dark black/ brown, light brown head that all but disappears, not much for lacing. Nose is pure chocolate. Reminds me of chocolate covered cherries. Tastes sweet, cocoa powder, abv burn, a little bitter, thin, still get the cherry too. Really nice.

Bottled. Overall mind blowing! Pours a pitch black color with a beige soapy head. Aroma of tons of chocolate, rum, cherries, punch. Taste mirrors the aroma. Loads of chocolate, rum, cherries, red wine, punch. Mon cherry chocolate aftertaste. Brilliant, beyond, top-notch!

Pours black with a thin mocha head. Aroma of chocolate, big chocolate, Hershey syrup. Taste is chocolate, roast, a bit artificial like a tootsie roll. Very different.
