Beer Review Flying Monkeys - The Chocolate Manifesto Triple Chocolate Milk Stout. Wow you can really smell the chocolate as soon as the top was popped. Reminded me of the local chocolate factory (yes we had a chocolate factory here). Very dark pour with a moca head. Man I can still really smell it as I’m typing this and my glass is more then arm’s length away. Tadtes just like it smells. Nice dark thick and reminiscent of good Green & Black dark chocolate. There’s a smokinees in there as well. This is good. Damn good. I think I will be going back to ghe LCBO tomorrow to pick up any bottles they have left.

Rating #1311 - 02.11.2014 Bottle from @foxjunk. Beautiful dark brown pour with a decent head that lasts. Aroma is a melted chocolate bar, alcohol. Palate is more of the same, lots of burnt sugar sweetness, cocoa. Chocolate overload, erring on the sickly sweet side.

Lots of artificial chocolate that just didn’t balance as well as expected. A decent stout but tasted like someone dropped the bag of cocoa in the fermenter. Cool artwork.

Dear god, when they say triple chocolate they are not kidding. Basically a melted chocolate bar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate, cocoa. Heavy sweet and light bitter taste like aroma, milk chocolate and cocoa. Medium to full oily creamy body with soft carbonation. I love chocolate but I couldnt drink more than 3-4 sips of this!

Tap at WVRST. Black with thick tan head and good lace. Really sweet upfront with strong cocoa powder notes following. Not really heavy in the mouth, it’s got nice drinkability despite the massive, massive sweetness. Starts to get too boozy quite fast. Over the top, extreme. Overly sweet, boozy calory bomb. Wish I only had a sample... I like extreme beers but I didn’t manage to down the last 1/3 of this.

Sample at SBWF. The pour is a nice dark brown/black color with a small khaki head. Heavily sweet aroma and taste with chocolate, vanilla and light roast. Almost like chocolate milk. A dessert in itself.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Black with a tan head. Very, very sweet with a lot of chocolate, milk and vanilla. Artificial and quite strange. Not my kind of beer.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Milky smell with chocolate. Creamy and milky taste with chocolate. Very milky and creamy, like drinking alcoholic chocolate milk. Also a bit artificial, but not to bad.

750 ml bottle shared at a RB tasting session in Chania, Greece. Pours a black color with a nice brown head. Aroma is milk chocolate and maybe some vanilla. Taste is really sweet and intense, just what the bottle says, it’s a chocolate Bomb!! Milk chocolate, vanilla, some milk notes. Body is full and the carbonation is low, and that may be the only negative as it tends to stuff you after a while. Still, very nice!!
