This chocolate stout poured a deep black colour with a big, tan coloured, creamy head. Scents include chocolate to the 9th degree, cherries and cream. First sip was a shitload of cocoa flavor with additional flavours of cherries, cherry whiskey and Cherry Blossom chocolate bars. Finish is cocoa to the extreme, almost syrup.

Black beer with smallish head and small lacing. Aroma has amazing chocolate flavours. Like sacher-cake, milk coffee and cocoa beans all at once. Really tasty stuff. Taste has roasted malts, milk chocolate, chocolate, cocoa and a little bit of vanilla. Full body and quite high carbonation. Really great beer if you enjoy chocolate, a lot actually.

Chocolate cake! Creamy. Nothing more than that. Cake, cake, cake. Strong. I’d pair this with chocolate cake just for fun.

A personal favourite; and one of the very few beers I can share with my wife. The chocolate notes are forward, very forward. Also a hint of banana and vanilla. It’s not an everyday beer. But when you’re looking at a special occasion, especially in the winter, this can be a real go-to.

Bottle thanks to miguel for sharing. Dark brown pour with a small creamy head. Aromas are marshmallows, cocoa, and lactose. Smells a lot like Count Chocula cereal. Tastes really sweet. Big lactose and chocolate, some creamy marshmallow. A touch thin. Fairly simple but tastes pretty good. Drinks like it’s 5% instead of 10%.

Wow! An awesome stout! Was going to say it shouldn’t be classified as an imperial stout, then noticed the ABV. Did NOT taste that big at all. Aroma was perfect milky and chocolaty. Smelled exactly like that drink Yoo Hoo. One of the best smelling beers I’ve had in recent memory. Pour was a nice deep dark brown/near black with a light tan film for a head. Taste was big and chewy. Heavy on the milk chocolate with vanilla and and milk lending a nice sweet flavor but nowhere near cloying. I honestly thought the beer was around 6-7%. So delicious. Medium carbonation.

750ml bottle. Poured a black color with a tan head. Very chocolaty. Yes this one was all about the chocolate ... knowing that going in, and it won’t disappoint. Want more than just chocolate, then skip it! I enjoyed it.

Brownie nose. Dark red brown appearance. Dark chocolate brown batter flavor. Very good. But very glad it’s a small pour
