2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
I enjoyed a large bottle of Pilsen with lunch in Colonia, Uruguay. It had a clear straw-gold color with a modest, bubbly white head that had some retention and little cling. The aroma was most grainy and grassy hops with touches of yeast, cereal, and barley. The flavor was mostly a grainy bitter, with a bit of sweetness too. It had a lighter, thinner body with average to below average carbonation and was slightly dry. Nothing too special about this beer, but I still enjoyed it.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pretty standard South American pale lager. Nothing extravagant, and nothing different. The pour is a pale straw yellow body, TONS of floaties in my beer with a dirty dishwater-like soapy head. Aroma was light grass, a touch of cheap white wine,..kinda a mineral water like smell too. Flavor was very light malt and thatís about it. Easy to drink, no noticeable skunkage.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a flat white head. Aroma is cereal, cornish and mild grassy. Sweet malty flavoured, light metallic and vague grassy bitterness. Lingering malty and grassy dry finish.

Draft in Montevideo. Pale yellow with thin head. Normal industrial lager aroma, body and flavour. Not bad, not good.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Somehow the score isnít quite as good as I thought this beer would be. Poured with a big frothy, foamy, soap bubble head. Some lace. Head is white and beer is gold colored. Aroma is typical worldwide common beer but with a grass and a hint of fart. Flavorís about the same with some spoiled grain thrown in. Lingering funky sweetness. Bodyís not too bad. Not the worst. Could drink another if there werenít many options.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
The aroma is almost nothing with malt and hints of grass and air freshener. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma with a slightly cardboard taste and a watery finish. The palate is thin. Overall there isnít much here to like.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Courtsey of cigarcitybrew.
Light malty, some corn, fruity (apple)
Sweet, finish is sugary, honey, light hoppy aftertaste.
Actually not a bad lager compared to the bad quality that seems to be plaguing that part of the world.

[Bottle from Ivan.] Off-yellow and clear as filtrated water. Off head and okay carbonation, dominant sweet, but boring.

Clear golden, little head. Aroma is corn syrup-sweet. Palate has a decent level of carbonation. Sweet, relatively inoffensive and could be a lot worse.

Pours pale clear piss yellow with a off white head. Not much of anything. Grassy & fruity. Anonymous - needs soul food!
