I liked it. It's just your standard locally brewed lager - similar to Yuengling Lager here in PA, but I'd definitely buy it again. Nice color and flavor.

decent malty lager. more in the vuenna style than american stanfard. amber color, thin head, caramel nose. taste is caramel and sweet malt notews. rather underhopped and gets a bit cloying.

very sweet both in aroma and actual flavor, darker than most Lagers with an amber/orange color and a small head. lacking considerably in the hops dept. This is a beer that may taste better colder than most beer geeks like.

What a crashing bore. This is the later incarnation of Olde Heurich Maerzen, which was one of the first micros I ever had, circa 1992. That one was delicious, with rich, complex malt and a bit of alcohol. This one is a generic East Coast amber lager with basically nothing to recommend it, though no noticeable flaws either. I rather despise this contract brewer for changing the recipe and taking the picture of his grandfather off the label (at least the latter was an actual brewer).

Good but relatively indistinct. No glass available; had to have it from the bottle, which I now don’t like to do thanks to the cursed RateBeer.

A good summertime beer after mowing etc. Nothing special but surely nothing really bad either.

A crisp beer with malty aroma & flavor. Very good with food & when watching sports on the Boob-tube!
