Quack-Duck (1908), Bodensee, Germany Apr 24, 2008 can. Clear golden yellow, medium-sized head. Medium-bodied, sweet with hints of marzipane, sligtly fruity and slightly hoppy. TBone (5116), Pori, Finland Jul 28, 2007 Draught@Zappa, Innbruck
Clear golden color, small creamy head, lace. Light hoppy nose. Reasonably malty and hoppy. Nice Saaz-kind of bite. Buttery notes. I found this more like a pils than märzen, ok for thirst quenching. Dorqui (1291), Brescia, Italy Feb 4, 2007 Updated: Sep 13, 2007Bottled 0,50L. Compact and adherent head, medium resistance. Limpid, shining yellow color and with a light fzz. Ordinary and bitterish scent with notes of malty, straw, dry cereals and grass. Prickly and hoppines taste, discreetly dense and with a pleasant bitter on the end. FrankJohansen (2807), Sabro, Denmark Nov 19, 2006 Bottle. Standard märzen quality. Golden colour with moderate flavour of malts and hops. Softly carbonated. Good session beer. HermanW (494), Coevorden, Netherlands Sep 9, 2006 The last time I had some bad Oktoberfestbeers but this beer is supprise, supprise much better.
