COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The pride and joy of our Native line, this ale is brewed with Vermont grown hops, and a touch of nature’s gift to man... Maple syrup, lending to its rich, earthy flavor and true Vermont character. Do it the hard way, go Native.

The aroma makes the beer on this one. The beer pours an dark amber with a somewhat sweet taste, due to the maple syrup and slight bitterness from the Vermont grown hops makes this beer very drinkable. Even with an ABV at 7%, it is hardly noticeable. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that appreciates a nice brown ale.

On tap, served in a goblet. Pours dark reddish brown with a thin beige head that disappeared immediately. Nuts, brown sugar & malt in the aroma. Semi sweet flavor featuring caramel malt, nuts, a hint of maple and some hop spice. Medium bodied with prickly carbonation.

22oz bottle in a shaker. Pours dark brown with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, and light chocolate malts, hints of maple, and some floral hops. Flavor the same, with a nice hoppy finish. Average texture. A pretty good brown ale.

Pours dark brown with thick off white head and plenty of lace. Aroma is earthy, nuts, malt. Taste follows suit with some bitterness and slight maple sweetness, lively carbonation. Finish is dry earthy and sweet.

Not that the illustrious first rater on this beer didn’t do it justice, but I’ll try to legitimize it a bit. Bottle shared by urbancaver- thanks, Cam! Pours an amber color, not really brown, with a small beige head. Aroma of toast, nuts, earth, wet leaves. The flavor also had toasted malts, earth, leaves, and nuts, but even more hoppiness than the nose let on. Light-medium bodied, with an earthy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Good, hoppy brown ale.

Excellent flavor for a dark beer. Smooth, with a faint maple flavor, no unpleasant aftertaste.
