UPDATED: MAR 15, 2013 From bottle. Powerful ginger aroma with flora hops and citrus. Golden color with hazy liquid and an off white head. Very sweet taste with prominent ginger. Light body with somewhat dry finish. Overall, a really good ginger wheat beer. I didn’t have high expectations of a ginger wheat and this beer set me straight on ginger beers. The ginger is used in just the right amount, so it’s not overpowering, but it’s definitely the most prominent and showcased ingredient. A nice first showing from the new brewery. A very solid and highly drinkable beer and maybe even a great beer (depending on how much you love ginger).

Great beer. Both wheat and ginger are there but in a very balanced and elegant way. Some citrus, some sweet coming from ginger and wheat. At nose is gentle and very appealing with a fresh and mild ginger aroma. Loved it and for sure will be my summer session beer.

Bottle. A healthy off-white head with staying power tops a lovely golden color. The taste amply delivers the promise of the name. Distinct, but not overpowering, aroma of ginger damps down the normal heaviness of a wheat brew. This delicious, flavorful brew refreshes and leaves the palate clean, with no bitterness or heaviness. Brilliant delivery of the hyper-local concept.

bottle. notes of earthy doughy creamed wheat, toast. quite noticeable ginger presence, but not overpowering or biting. low carbonation. tad too much earthy dough mixed in with the wheat. ginger wheat combo has some potential.

I love this brew! Extremely pleasant flavor, with the perfect hint of ginger. Nice color. It’s good ice cold to slightly chilled.
