Bottle. A healthy off-white head with staying power tops a lovely golden color. The taste amply delivers the promise of the name. Distinct, but not overpowering, aroma of ginger damps down the normal heaviness of a wheat brew. This delicious, flavorful brew refreshes and leaves the palate clean, with no bitterness or heaviness. Brilliant delivery of the hyper-local concept.

Sample at source. Poured a clear orange and thin bubbly white head. Aroma was as you’d expect with ginger and wheat. Flavor followed the nose with a bit of floral. Light body and thin texture, lively carbonation, smooth finish. Not my thing.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a thin white head that gone immediately and leaves no lacing. Weak aroma is ginger and lilac. Light body, lively carbo, thin texture, wheat shows through along with the ginger, leading to an abrupt watery finish.

Pours a hazy still into a tulip. Ginger aromas. Soft with ginger and dusty yeast. Yuk.

This is a pretty assertive offering where the general essence and body are reminiscent of a strong IPA. But when you get done swishing it around and begin tasting it, it is evident that it is not hops, but spicy ginger that fills the mouth. The alcohol was well hidden, I thought. I couldn’t really get any sense of the profile of the wheat beer itself, as everything was centered around the ginger. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a thin white head. Big ginger aroma with wheat, citrus and lemon. Flavor of pale malts, mild ginger, grass, wheat, light lemon and had a bitter finish.

A blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet grassy malt with ginger. In mouth, a nice fruity malt with light grassy hops, faint ginger, nice.
