COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A luxurious, rosée coloured beer brewed by a process that demands a selection of ripened-to-perfection cereals. To be inhaled for its blueberry Québécois aroma.

Pinkish/orangey colored liquid. Nose was slightly smoked with a touch of roast and some light sweetish malt. Nary a blueberry to be inhaled. The body rendered impressions of spoil. Lightly tart with a little fruitiness that dries out as quickly as one can consume it. Could stand for a lot more blueberry, and maybe even a little more freshness.

Folie douce is a light purple/mauve beer with a resistant white brilliant head although the beer is slightly uncarbonated. The aroma is off with a bit of rotten wood character, no bluberry, malt or hops present in the nose. The flavour is off as well with a strong sharp lactic character and again little or no blueberry flavour. This bottle was infected - too bad will have to rerate. Surprisingly, this beer is still drinkable dispite it's flaws and quite refreshing. I wouldn't mind having one of these on a warm summer night.

Alcoholic, thin blueberry juice...The mirror of a beer...

Fairly restrained blueberry character. The ale underneath is light and lifeless, so the fruit adds just enough to make it acceptable.
