crushinat0r (225), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 10, 2007 Deep red/purple in colour with a thick dissipating lacing head. Very impressive for a fruit beer. Smells just like wild blueberries in the field, yum! A little fizzy body and a little thin with a nice blueberry taste and a slightly bitter finish, just like you’d expect from blueberries. This is one of the better blueberry beer I’ve tried.
Une tres belle decouverte! french tickler (450), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Jun 24, 2008 Shared with Pyrozoid
App.:
Clear red poor with a thin off-white (slightly purple) poor.
Aromas:
Predominant Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries...
Palate:
slight bitterness but has a very natural sweetness to it... very nicely carbonated.
Flavors:
Very fruity, again predominant blueberrie.... a mix of wild berries...
Notes: Overall very natural and nicely brewed fruit beer. nuplastikk (361), Maryland, USA Dec 6, 2007 12oz bottle bought in Montreal. Despite some of the lower ratings (something fruit beers always tend to attract from those who are against the style), this beer is really nicely done. The bright deep murky red jumps out at you. The blueberry taste comes across very subtly and naturally, no artificial sugar taste going on. Crisp and dry, but finishes quite refreshingly. Great beer. Glouglouburp (1829), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jan 24, 2007 Slightly cloudy cherry-red body with a small pink head. Leather aroma. Taste of leather, some blueberries, plastic. Very bad. Sweet Madness is its name, utter insanity is its tastes.
