0,75 bottle from Pallieter85, many, many thanks. Vintage 2009. Hazy dark orange color with minimal white head. Tart aroma with sour apples, funk, barnyard, wood, earthy notes. Taste, tart apples, malty notes, citrus, slightly acidic, barnyard, wood. tart finish. Very nice.

Bottle @ Grote Dorst. Hazy amber orange with a tiny head. Candied apple nose. Hints of musty sweet brown sugar. A bit of brett and apples. The taste is more acidic apple skin, lemon. Soft dry woody finish. A bit of brett. Fairly straightforward. A touch dry on the palate. Soft carbonation. Overall, pretty good.

poured an apricot color with small beige head.
nose was cheese, sour grape and lemon peel
taste was lemon peel, yogurt and cheese funk. Not sure if this one needs age or what, but i found it to be pretty unappetizing.

Colour: cognac
Smell: sour, malts, some hay, little tiny bit sweet/dryness much like a demi sec
Taste: dry bitter start, some sour but not allot or not tart/vinegary in any way, good geuze with decent sour/bitter level

Bottle. Pours with a hazed orange hued body and a small fizzy white head. Aromas are acidic and funky, attic, medium horsenotes. Lots of brett, stone fruit, floral and earthy. Flavors are medium acidic, very funky with basment, leather, barnyard. Medium floral, puckering and dry. Damp leaves. Very lively carbonation, mouthwateringly sour perception. Dry finish. Tasty.

750 ml bottle shared by xscottypx - thanks a ton, Scotty! Been on my Wants list for a while now. Pours a hazy apple juice color with some medium-sized white bubbles around a few spots on the edge. Aroma of leather, funk, oak, lemon, dust, and mint. Mellow flavor: mild lemon, leather, earth, musty funk, and yogurt. Light-medium bodied, with fairly low carbonation and a mildly tart and funky mouthfeel. I know this had some carbonation issues and supposedly came back to life; it’s still fairly flat but really damn tasty.

Subtle nose of sour fruit. Taste of sour fruit, earthy, hint of mint. Dry, great mouthfeel. Amazingly good.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a small whit ehead. Has a fruity sour tart funky woody citrus aroma. Fruity malty sour tart funky flavor with hints of citrus. Has a fruity funky sour tart woody finish.
