COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, and over ripe fruits, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle 70 cl. Pours a deep amber with a slight haze and a tiny off-white head. Nose has a little sweet caramel and an idea of cherries. Rich, sweet body, heavy carbonation. More yeast than cherries really. Sulphurous finish. Not so hot - needs more cherries really. 160612

Big bottle shared at the ratebeer meetingpoint, Ølfestival 2012. Looks like muddy water, very hazy, orange coloured body. Smell of berries and dried fruits. Flavour is tart and sweet with berries and fruits. Malty-fruity on the swallow. Well balanced and mouth filling (Copenhagen, 10.05.2012).

Sigmund (5181) - Tau, NORWAY - MAY 13, 2012
Sample from bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Red to brown colour, moderate head. Moderate aroma and flavour of cherries as expected, but the fruit does not dominate - the main character is of a typical Belgian blonde ale.
