Cloudy dark brown beer. Odd yeast nose - not nice! Dry palate. Spicy malt with bitter coca cola. Some faint honey sweetness but followed by a spicy finish. Messy!

Bottled. A murky brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as a whiff of spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, spices, and over ripe fruits.

Bottle. High creamy off-white head. Very dark red brown body. Powerful tyne malt caramel aroma and flavor with a low carbonation and a long aftertaste.

Pours super lovely chestnut red with a big, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, raisins, soft honey, chocolate, caramel. Soft carbonation, nice dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly milky, chocolate, honey, softly vinious, light coffee. Pretty sweet, but not the worst or most cloying honey-beer I’ve had.

Bottled (thanks Timo A.). Deep amber golden colour, not much head. Aroma is oregano, honey, caramel malts and burnt sugar. Flavour is honey, yeast, fruits and is also having some wood and mild burnt sugary notes. Rather sweet, but still drinkable.

Bottle, thx to Papsoe. It’s an unclear, brown beer with a creamy, beige head. Black peppers, thyme, roasted malts and alcohol on the nose. Alcohol, roasted malts, black pepper, some fresh fruits and hints of dried fruits in the flavor. Rather dry mouthfeel, warming from the alcohol. Roasted, peppery finish. Overall, it’s on the warm side, but I love the black pepper flavor. A nice one. 090619
