Bottle. Thanks to Enjoyit Pours a murky amber brown with a diminishing beige head. Aroma is sour with brett notes. Hops and candy sweetness in the background. Clearly infected, but quite nice still. Flavour is dusty and sour. Brett, malt and a perfumy touch. Finish is dry with a malty sourness. As a pilsner this clearly fails, due to the obvious infection, but had it been a sour ale it would actually have worked okay. I kinda liked it. 10.02.11.

Infected. Muddy amber of color with an off white head. An sour aroma with some sweets. A sour flavor with malt and oak notes.

Bottle. Hazy orange, small white collar. Not pretty. Must be infected. Aroma is more like a lambic with wild yeast and heavy sourness, vinegar and sugar. Taste is also sour and full of fungi. Vinegary sourness and sugary sweetness. Tart, barnyard, leather and earth. Definitely infected, so I guess this rating doesn’t count for all that much. I must say, though, that this by far is the best infected beer I’ve had.

500ml bottle (best before 1 January 2011) @ Christmas tasting on 28 December 2010. Amber colour. Like the previous Foniks beer (875 ar Skovkloster) this was a sweet and malty number with a sherbet feel. This time there were more orangey hops to provide relief and a slightly firmer mouthfeel (although still quite soft). Thankfully, no obvious infection. OK but, as with the previous Foniks beer, I didn’t have much of a clue what this was supposed to be.

I think this one was infected. It tasted okay, but the infection thing was a turn off for me. It poured Hazy dirty brown with no head. Aroma: sour berries, citrus and maybe wild yeast. Taste was like a sour ale. long duration.

ChrisOs Christmas Tasting. Clear amber beer. Low carbonation. Fruity - fruit salad sweets. Mildly sour as well. Semi dry finish. An odd lager but alright!

Bottle; Chris O’s pre-NY tastings. Thanks to whomever bought this. Aroma is oak; honey, wood, sweet malts, light hops. Taste is juicy malt, honey, grass, light floral hops, honey and oil. It’s descent and sessioable and would work well in Spring.

Bottle at Chriso NY Tasting 2010. Amber lasting beige. Some yeast. Some malt bit tasted of home beer.

Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. A clear, amber beer with a small, off-white head. Some sourness in the aroma, berries and a spiced touch, too milky. Milky sourness in the flavor too, quite lemony and with some bitterness. Not much impact from the malts. Medium body, quite fizzy. The finish is lemony sour and bitter. Certainly off, and certainly not very good. 100814
