COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Rye IPA brewed by Jan Schmidt for Danske Ølentusiaster in Køge for their 10 years anniversary. Pilsen malt, rye malt, chocolate rye malt, Belgian trappist yeast, large portions of Chinook and Amarillo hops.

Bottled, 50 cl. Opaque dark brown with a dense, extremely lively beige head. Nose is roasted malty, caramel, chocolate, dark bread and grapefruit-juice. Flavor is melted dark chocolate, sweet roasted malts, rugbrød and fruity hops. Full body. End on a very dry roasted note.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madsberg. Pours dark brown with a warm reddish hue and a huge and frothy beige head - very lively! Roasty, chocolatey aroma. Medium body, overcarbonated. Roast and dark dried fruit, friendly phenols, yeast and vanilla. Dry roasty finish. No real bitterness. Decent. 150812

Draught at the jubilee party. Clear black with a light brown head, nice lacings. Aroma heavy malty (rye, spicy, bread) and hoppy (citrusy). Flavor medium+ sweet, heavy bitter, quite sharp (still young). Almost full body, sirupy, som alcohol, but well hidden.
