2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 thewolf (8666) - Kolding, - AUG 8, 2007
Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours a hazy redish orange with a small off white bubbly head. It quickly ends up as a thin film. Aroma is very mild with a little hops and oranges. Quite watery mouthfeel. Flavour begins somewhat like a fruit champagne, but quickly dissipates. No hops whatsoever in the flavour, but has a little sweetness along with the oranges. Boring, but relatively fresh.

It seems to me, that this is the second or third time the I rate this one, but here it goes again. Fully golden colour with a huge off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with a soapy note. Fruity, citric flavor with a yeasty, dusty finish.

Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of tobacco and fruit. The flavor is sweet combined with an acidic note on which notes of fruit are evident, leading to a dry and acidic finish.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 yngwie (9205) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 8, 2007
Bottle, from trade w/Papsoe. Bottle. Seriously loud cap-popping, and the beer gushed out with a cloudy, golden body. A small, white head settled on top. Seriously sour-ish nose, quite fruity and a bit yeasty. Really didn’t want to taste it. The flavor was better than the nose though, but still sour and clearly infected. Fruity, lemony and a bit chalky in the mouth, well carbonated and a bit astringent. Fruity-sour finish. I really miss the hops, wonder if they were detectable in the summer. I guess it was better fresh, at least in the summer heat, but I doubt it was an interesting beer even then. Now it is a drain-pour, even though it’s not undrinkable. (071208)

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange no head, looks appalling both in the glass and the bottle. Slight fruity and strong grapefruit aroma, hoppy. Slight sour and malty flavour. Fruity finish with grapefruit again. Too dominiated by cascade hops and one dimensional imho.
