Keg @ Thirsty Monk, Asheville. Brown pour with a small off-white head. Smoked herb garden. Dark roasted malts with delicate accents of flower, grass root. Some wood. A mild accent of smoked ham. Mellow chocolate and nut. Peanut butter. Some dirt. Medium body, smooth. The nose has a nice floral character that doesn’t really follow through. Still, solid effort.

I dont usually love a porter, but this is one of the most delicious beers I’ve ever had. The tast has subtle hints of hazelnut and chocolate with the most even and smooth texture. The brewery offers the Wisteria Porter on Co2 and Nitro. I prefer the nitro. I cannot say enough good things about this porter.

Great beer. Better on nitro. Poured at the source. Pours dark brown. Smells malty with a touch of burnt grain. Tastes sweet and s’mores like. Solid, but the nitro makes it better.

I do love nitro. On tap at the source. Pours a deep black with a thick creamy head. Smells a malt and marshmallow. Tastes like a s’mores, light coffee, fairly sweet. Great job!
