Robust porter aged on local hazelnuts and cacao from the French Broad Chocolate Factory of Asheville, North Carolina. Brewed in collaboration with Wisteria Southern Gastropub of Morganton, North Carolina. Expect deep notes of rich dark chocolate, toasty hazelnuts and a mocha latte.

Keg @ Thirsty Monk, Asheville. Brown pour with a small off-white head. Smoked herb garden. Dark roasted malts with delicate accents of flower, grass root. Some wood. A mild accent of smoked ham. Mellow chocolate and nut. Peanut butter. Some dirt. Medium body, smooth. The nose has a nice floral character that doesnít really follow through. Still, solid effort.

I dont usually love a porter, but this is one of the most delicious beers Iíve ever had. The tast has subtle hints of hazelnut and chocolate with the most even and smooth texture. The brewery offers the Wisteria Porter on Co2 and Nitro. I prefer the nitro. I cannot say enough good things about this porter.

Brown black pour with creamy off white head and lace. Aroma is large coffee for me with a touch of chocolate. Sweet chocolate flavor, medium coffee, and roasted malt. Light sour malt hint. Medium body with good carbonation. very nice

Draft at Thirsty Monk. Pours a dark cola brown with auburn highlights and a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have nice smooth roasted malt, chocolate, light earthy notes. Good, not great.

Great beer. Better on nitro. Poured at the source. Pours dark brown. Smells malty with a touch of burnt grain. Tastes sweet and símores like. Solid, but the nitro makes it better.

I do love nitro. On tap at the source. Pours a deep black with a thick creamy head. Smells a malt and marshmallow. Tastes like a símores, light coffee, fairly sweet. Great job!
