Good body. Very low bitterness. Good example of the style. Some great flavor.

Can from Brew Topia. Clear gold with ring and lace. Lightly toasted toffee biscuits aroma. Fairly strong toasted toffee sweetness with mild fruit grain and nuts and very mild spicy grassy hop finish. Sweet but not cloying. Not bad for a beginner beer or a beer to substitute for macros at a party. Pretty shameful for a microbrew "flagship" beer.

Location: 12 oz can from Nikki’s Liquors, 4/10/15.

Aroma: Aroma of lemon, dough, grains, a little spice, and some corn notes.
Appearance: The pour is golden in color, slightly murky, with a small head and minimal lace.
Flavor: Tastes similar to the nose, not as thin as I expected, decent enough overall.
Palate: It has a light-medium body, decent overall mouthfeel, and a lively carbonation.
Overall Impression: This one is pretty solid, for the style. Not a great beer, but you could throw a few of these back pretty easily.

12oz can thanks to Travlr
Pours cloudy golden with a huge white head, some lacing. Aroma is malty, grains and citrus. Taste is citrus, straw and herbal
This beer really changed over time, and not for the better. After the initial pour it was a nice, clean and crisp. After it warmed up it became herbal, solvent and bitter. My score would be much higher if I drank it fast while it was cold.

On tap. A nice clear Amber body with a white head that had nice retention. A mostly toasted malt base with a hint of corn. Floral hops rounded out the aroma. Flavor was mildly sweet and the toasted malts balanced it out well. Slightly bitter finish. Light bodied. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz can from Julio’s Liquors. The brew provides a golden color with lasting head retention. Aroma is sweet grain with weak citrus.

Flavor bready malt, grain and mild, dead citrus. Fizzy carbonation with a dry texture. Plain, boring, ordinary golden ale. It really needs something to give it character ... Well it’s not hard to drink.

Poured from the 12oz. can into a Samuel Adams perfect pint glass. The color is a clear yellow/gold with a lot of foamy white head. As soon as the can opened the foam was overflowing. The smell is grainy with a few touches of bitterness. There is an off aroma that smells a bit clay. The taste is a bit grassy and leans toward the traditional hop flavor. The the malts hold up the balance and let the earthy flavor squeeze through. There is little more to the flavor but it does hit the right notes. The feel of this beer is light and has a nice smooth finish. There is a nice crispness that brings on a nice refreshing feel that goes well in hot weather.
